Let's take one candidate, Obama a Democrat.
He never has had a job that paid in the millions of dollars, and yet J.P.Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and other big bankers have contributed very large amounts to his campaign.

WHY???

I would guess they have had their financial tentacles in him for a long time to help boost his popularity, into the national spotlight....

....because he very probably approves of the way the current Banking-industrial-military-

-Complex.......are in control of the banking systems.....
.....At The Expense of We the People.

Military contracts & war is paid for by the tax-payers. Interest on loans is control-ed by banks. Just figure out the money generated by interest payments alone in the USA!!!! The total figure would boggle the mind.
The U. S. Government has put the American taxpayers in debt for about 9 trillion dollars.....To The Bankers!!!!!

I'm a little annoyed...Maybe it's just me but is there some sort of incredible hypocrisy going on? In the many weeks before, we've seen nominees after nominees get ripped up, shredded, and heavily analyzed by the media...and when I say the media, I mean our journalists out there doing the work that many of us DON'T do. Yet, I'm a little taken back by all of this back patting when it comes to VP nominee for the GOP, Palin.

Why do you think some of the people in this nation want the media to leave Palin alone and why is there such a strict lock down on viewing her negotiations with other persons etc? I don't like it. It's okay to rip Senator Clinton on her speeches and what she says as well as her dress suits, Obama on his previous pastor problem and his "rhetoric", and McCain on his ability to accurately to understand what certain things are..such as a "Surge" or more importantly our economy in the US, or rip on what Joe Biden has said in the past and how he has "flip flopped" on his previous positions as a former Presidential Candidate.

So why are we being so kind to Mrs. Palin, who came into this race very late, who has not really demonstrated any real ability to HANDLE the pressing questions coming from the media nor the ability to make a rebuttal towards her previous statements, who is meeting with these world leaders without any media to cover what they are saying (because you know...If we are to be allies, secrets cannot be made between anyone, including persons who will be the one "speaking" for every US citizen), amongst other things. Why is the public acting chivalrous towards them, especially conservative people?

Or maybe it's just me. Maybe I am not paying enough attention to the news or maybe I'm not watching the right channels, or maybe I'm not reading the right material. I don't know. School me a bit without trying inject party statements like "Democrats this" and "Republicans that".

Palin couldn't withstand the media spotlight because it showed the cracks in her armor regarding her lack of experience and questionable abuses of power.

Her lack of basic knowledge has wrecked the Replicans (sic) hopes too, thankfully.

But I think one of the main reasons she has been kept away from the media is because she makes such hilarious mistakes when she is interviewed.
